Cuttlebug and Gesso

Gesso is a wonderful medium that can be used on any surface. I have been using it for years, especially during my folk art era when I was painting wood and metal. When using it with paper or cardstock it adds strength to the paper and also texture if you want that. It has a rough surface that allows paint to grip to it and you don't have to use as many layers of paint when you use Gesso as an undercoat. Cropworks will be doing a product description and technique soon so keep an eye out there.So the added strength is a plus when using the cuttlebug.
