Butterfly embossed

Here is an embossing plate I made using a chipboard shape and a piece of scrap cardboard.

Sandwich
Plate A
Plate B
Rosie's Embossing Plate,
Cardstock
Silicone mat
Plate B
Then run it through the Cuttlebug. I have made several and have used either side for the positive and negative version as seen in the samples. One day I will use these on a card.

Foam Embossing

I made this plate with foam shapes instead of chipboard. I have heaps of these shapes so must do a few more to play with.

The softness of the foam stops you from having a raised effect. This is so with only one foam shape in thickness. However, the indentation is good with the foam shapes.
I did this on white light cardstock and dry brushed it with paint. I was only playing so it isn't wonderful to look at. I will do more and make something from them.

Flower Self Embossing

Here are the papers I did using the embossing plates I made myself. This time with flowers. These flowers have been cut from chipboard using the Sizzix machine. I have dry brushed the papers after they have been embossed with Candy paint from Kaisercraft.

The two papers are in reverse of each other. The one near the plate has the flowers raised and the one above has the flowers indented. This will depend on which side the paper is facing. The following link in my blog has one of these papers as the background paper.
