Pink Elephant Challenge 4-Ribbons and Die Cuts

Here is a the card I made for The Pink Elephant Challenge 4- Ribbons and Die Cuts. A creative girl cannot have enough ribbons. I used a few different types of ribbons on this card. I also used 2 Cuttlebug borders and some crinkle paper that is acid free to back the die cut I got from SALT.This was a fun card to make and very easy.

Cuttlebug Spot Bows Card

I love this ribbon, so rich and textured. This is a very easy card to make. I have used the Swiss Dots border. On one side I used it one way and on the other I reversed it so you get different textures.I have punched 2 holes in the card to tie the bow, that is a rectangle and twisted-it has wire and this makes it easy to twist, with another thin ribbon that is secured on the back. This is a good way to make bows if you cannot tie them or have arthritis.The sentiment is a stamp of unknown origin as is the metal embellishment.

Cuttlebug Challenge Watercolour Card 2

This card has been bugged on Gesso primed canvas. I used watercolour pencils for this one. I coloured in with several different colours and the went over it with my finger that I dipped in a glass of water. I didn't have a brush as I wasn't at home. When it was dry I went over some of the bugged parts with a Souffle pen and made 2 flowers in more deepened areas. When all this was dry I went over the flowers and border with Crystallina Kindy Glitz. The flowers are commercial ones that have been snipped off a bunch.

Button Challenge

Here goes my purple theme again. The big button on the card is a chipboard one that has been covered in patterned paper and inked with a Kaisercraft stamped sentiment. Because there is a button I thought it best to keep with the haberdashery theme and glue lace and ric rac to the card as well.The smaller buttons are Bazzill ones.

Kaisercraft and Cuttlebug Challenge #20

Here is the card I made last night based on Valerie Salmon's sketch at Cuttlebug Challenges. I used a variety of things on this card.The patterned paper and the white flower are from Kaisercraft as is the stamped Happy Birthday. I used my Fiskars ruler to trace the scallop and then hand cut out. I used my Crop-o-dial for the holes and Maya Road flower stamp to make the black flower that I stamped on white and hand cut out behind the white flower.

There are 3 Cuttlebug folders used for this card. My ever favourite swirls( on the black cardstock), the white leaves are bugged and a portion of them cut out and With Love has been sectioned from the border folder.

I had a lot of fun making this card. Thanks Valerie for the inspiration. I am liking these sketches now.

Cupcake Craft Challenge

The backgroud strip has been bugged and inked. The patterned paper is Treehouse Memories and the gems are Kaisercraft.

I stamped a flower on the mauve square without reinking as a background.

This challenge was taken from a card map.

I am enjoying these challenges as they are making me do things I don't usually do.

Kaisercraft Stamps-Pink Elephant Challenge Card

My 2 favourite items at the moment are my Cuttlebug and Kaisercraft Stamps. So I have used both on this card. The little flowers have been stamped with Kaisercraft Stamps as has the flourish. The cardstock is Bazzill and the patterned paper is Basic Grey. The bling is also Kaisercraft and there are hints of Kindy Glitz in the flowers.

Notice the border Cuttlebug on the bottom of the patterned paper.

All that Glitters Challenge

Here is the card I am entering in the All that Glitters Challenge at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog. The Card is Bazzill and the Patterned Paper is Making Memories. I stamped with Maya Road stamps onto the patterned paper with purple ink. I then spread Kindy Glitz all over the flowers and cut out some circles and inked around the edges for the centres. The sentiment is an unknown stamp.

The Pink Elephant Card Challenge

This is the pink, white and black card I have made for the new blog The Pink Elephant Challenge. I have made a heart card ( my template) in pink Bazzill. Then made another heart that I got the pattern from Split Coast Stampers out of patterned paper from Tree House Memories. The flowers are from SALT and the gems are Kaisercraft. I used a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop for the Love You on the tags.

Pink Elephant Challenge Blog

Robin and Lori, 2 talented papercrafts ladies have started a new blog called The Pink Elephant Challenge. They will be conducting a challenge a week and have all sorts of ideas and other designers working on the blog. Go check them out and read all about their ideas and what they are going to do. Sounds like so much fun.

A Challenge

This message is for the people out there who read my blog and Cuttlebug. I would like you all to come up with border ideas using the Cuttlebug. I have done quite a few and will share my ideas each day for the next week.Between us all we should get some wonderful ideas to use and share.
Don't forget that borders work well with photos and any other surface that can be bugged.
