Amanda

Look at my beautiful daughter Amanda on the right and her best friend Sarah also beautiful on the left.

This photo was taken on Friday night,a few hours before their dreadful car crash. I felt uneasy about them driving down to Wollongong as the road can be treacherous especially in bad weather like it was on Friday night. They got almost to the Wollongong turnoff when It started to pour and Sarah couldn't see in front of her and mistook the truck ramp for the turn off and hit gravel and rolled the car. Luckily she was quick thinking otherwise the passenger side would have hit the concrete guard-I don't want to think about it. Anyway, the car rolled and landed on its bonnet. The girls and the guys in the back had to climb out through the broken front window. The police and ambulance came and took Amanda and Sarah to hospital. They got out without a scratch. Unbelievable. Even their beautiful dresses were unmarked. The Police and Ambulance told the girls they were lucky to be alive.Amanda phoned us at 11 from the hospital. Don't you just hate that dreaded phone call. She had already organised for another friend to come and pick her up as she knew Friday night was our drinking night. Brian and I have a bottle of wine of a Friday night with our meal.
Thank you God for saving my daughter and her best friend. He sure does work in magical ways.
Moral of the story" Love your family and be thankful and appreciative of them."

Rose-Anne...I am sooo thankful your daughter is okay..and her friends. God was certainly watching over those dear ones. I pray the angels continue to watch over them. And what a true statement it is..to cherish the time with your family. I went this last week and visited my parents...and enjoyed it soo much.
Thanks for sharing this and reminding us again how special our family is to us.

Oh Rose-Annen how awful. Thanks the Lord that they are all OK. He was obviously looking after the precious cargo on board. As a parent, you're never prepared for this sort of thing. Glad it all turned out OK in the end. cars can be fixed but people can't.
Sending love, higs and prayers

That must have been one scary phonecall. Glad to hear they came out all right from the accident!
