Altered Book

This book is a notebook but it can be made more interesting for scrapbooking and cardmaking. It is always handy to have a notebook in your stash to jot down ideas etc.

The cover is clear thick acetate type substance that I glues patterned paper to on the inside. The photo of me as a bride and the name and sentiment has been scrapped on a sheet of red Bazzill and glued to the inside cover which you can see as "Double A".

What an improvement!!!!

Cuttlebug Butterfly

I didn't make this card but I did make the butterfly and gave them to a group of ladies to come up with a creation. This one shows the butterfly in 3D and the background has been stamped and bling in some places.

This is a mini album I made some time ago. I used Crosspaths Patterned paper to make it.

Cuttlebug on Acetate and Staz-On.

This card can be used for both Male and Female. Use different colours for different genders.Easy.I bugged the acetate and rubbed staz-on ink all over it.

I used Gel Medium to glue the acetate down on the paper. The heart is a Kaiser stamp and the sentiments are a Crafter's Workshop stencil.

Cuttlebugged Paint Chips and Kaiser Stamps

I went into the nearest Hardware store one day and came across an ex- student of mine. He was working in the paint section. I asked him

if I could have a few chips to use in my craft. He told me to go away for a while and then come back. When I returned he had collected over 100 chips for me to use. I have used heaps but then found them yesterday and decided to bug them. They sand well also.

They team well with Kaiser stamps also.Now what doesn't team well with Kaiser???

This card would be suitable for a male for Valentine's Day.

Cuttlebug Doodling Card and Kaiser Stamps

This card is black with a yellow doodled bugged layer. The sentiment and hearts are Kaiser stamps and parts have been coloured using pencils.

Happy Birthday Elvis

It is the 8th January here in Australia now and it is Elvis Presley's birthday. As a young girl growing up this was very important to me as the radio stations would play his songs all day and I loved that. So happy birthday Elvis, I still love your songs.

Cuttlebug Valentine's Card suitable for a Male.

This card I have left fairly plain so it can be given to a male for Valentine's Day. You can pretty it up with other colours, bows and bling if you want to give it to a female.

I decided to make good use of all these tools I have. After bugging Core'dinations cardstock and sanding it I punched holes using the above crop-o-dial randomly. I then mounted it on white cardstock. The heart I drew freehand and bugged it with the heart folder. The rest is obvious.

Cuttlebug Flower card

This one will not be everybody's cup of tea as it is a little out there, if you know what I mean. I like to experiment so it is different.

I bugged the flower on the cardstock, then inked using Versa Cubes all over in 2 colours making sure I was more heavy on the raised bits. A 3rd colour was used on the leaves. The centre was bugged using another folder and inked in 2 colours and punched in the circle shape for the centre of the flower. I then doodled around the petals and embossed shape card. The bottom sentiment was done using a stencil but the top is a stamp.

Cuttlebug Stickers

This is what I did with the stickers that were given to me some time ago. I have already made the seals for envelopes and now I have bugged them with the Christmas ornament folder and used them as embellishments. I like the gold with the navy. This will make a nice Valentine's Day Card.

Mini Albums

These mini albums I made some time ago but I have had quite a few private e-mails asking me to show more of my mini albums. These ones are so easy to make and so versatile. i have made them with the kids at school and hence you can make them too.

My Christmas one was made with Basic Grey patterned paper. The pink one was SasafrassLass. The brown one is and the orange one is .The plain cardstock is Bazzill.

I will finish the brown and orange one , one day. I usually make an album when I do lessons with ladies so I end up with a few.But then I have a few photos to go in them.

I find people look at these mini albums more

than they do big photo albums. I keep them in a box near the lounge and when visitors come they can pick them up and browse through them.However, since Cooper has been living with us (2 yr old boy) I haven't been able to do this. LOL. I do put them out on the table when I have visitors.

Julie's New Home-Australian Fauna

Look at the wildlife that is sitting within an arm reach or very close to their back balcony. I could have sat there all day and soaked in nature. How relaxing it was.

My Grandchildren Mini Album pages

Just 2 pages showing the girls Jessica and Chloe and the boy, Cooper.

The cover was made from a rectangle. I folded it in half and then the front cover folded it again in half to make the flap on the front. The flap was covered in patterned paper to make it look different from the rest. The brads hold the cardstock pages in place.

My Grandchildren Mini Album

This is all I did while I was away on holidays. I wanted to do more but knew I needed the rest and I did rest. I will upload

a few pages from this simple mini album and put the rest on Cropworks blog. The cover is made from chocolate Colour Cord cardstock and Sassafras Lass patterned paper( old but I like it). The brads are from Cropworks and the pink and blue cardstock inside are Bazzill. The embellishments are bits and pieces from my stash.

More Stockton Beach.

This one of me has the shipwrecked Norwegian ship behind. This happened in the 1970s and it is an attraction now. The rusting has brought out many colours.

Stockton Beach

Brian and I had a lovely day at Stockton Beach. We went 4 wheel driving, swimming, lunch, resting and rescued a car that was stuck in the sand.The beach was a little rough and lots of sand in my swimmers but on a hot day the cool water was welcoming.

Cuttlebug Seals

What is the silliest comment a friend could make to me? Can you do anything with these?

Yes, naturally I can were my thoughts. So here is what I came up with, with these round stickers. I have bugged them and made seals for envelopes with them.I have gold and white ones.
So keep looking to get new ideas on these round stickers.

Holidays

We are home after having a lovely peaceful holiday. Brian and I went up to Cessnock for 9 days and stayed in the heart of the vineyards where we tasted and bought quite a few bottles of win and olive oil. We also had friends and family come to visit and had a great time catching up. We went to our block of land 3 times and have decided on 2 homes so far that we want to build on it. One day we went to Gloucester for the day and another day we went 4x4 driving on Stockton Beach. This day was so nice and relaxing and having lunch near the old wreck.
On the way home we stayed at Julie and Glenn's place at Erina Heights. They have a new home and it is lovely. As usual we had a wonderful time with them.
Now it is back to housework for a few days and then a few more plans for the holidays and outings etc.
I miss my creativity. I need to get working .
