Kaisercraft and Basic Grey - Jessica's version

Here is the same version of the card made by my 6 year old granddaughter Jessica. The sentiment is a wooden Kaisercraft stamp that she has outlined with a pencil once stamped.

Instead of stamping an image on the cardstock she has drawn her version of a person. I think this is so special as it is her personal touch. Jessica shows an artistic flair at her early age. I will have to help Mel develop this further.

Kaisercraft and Basic Grey

Here is a quick and easy card using Basic Grey patterned paper and Kaisercraft products that include stamps and pearls. Ribbon is an unknown source and Pinecone Versa Cube has been used to ink around the edges. The cardstock is from SALT.

Jessica's Card

Here are a few cards my 6 year old granddaughter Jessica made this week. She loves craft and made a heap of cards for her friends etc for the year. I gave her the products and a few suggestions but not many and away she went. I sat with her and made my own. We had fun together.

Cuttlebug and Kaisercraft Stamp

The yellow paper has a canvas weave appearance and bugged very nicely. The dragonfly ribbon was given to me as a gift and the sentiment is a Kaisercraft stamp.
I used Prisma colours to colour the centres of the flowers.

Cuttlebug card

Here is a card similar to the previous one but in a different colour range and ribbon.it's amazing what a few different colours does to the appearance of a card. This was so much fun making. I wish i could buy more of these cheap foam stamps. I have about 4. I must look where they are.

Happy Birthday Mother

Here is the card I made for the challenge at The Pink Elephant. I bugged the background using the Happy Birthday Folder. The big flower was stamped and then Kindy Glitzed. It has been popped up with foam. It is a big foam stamp I bought from a cheap shop. The other flowers are stamped and cut out the centres are coloured with Prisma Colours and then glitzed.

Fun with the Family

I have Melanie, Jessica and Chloe staying with us for a few days. it is nice to have them around. Jessica and I made some cards today. I made 6 and she made 6 also. It is fun making cards with a 6 year old. They are so creative. i will share what we did tomorrow. I even got Melanie motivated into making some cards. She also painted her Kaisercraft Wooden Recipe box today and hopes to put it together tomorrow. I am anxious to see it. Cooper was at pre-school but was very excited to come home and see his cousins.
I cooked one of Mel's favourite meals corned silverside with vegetables and white sauce.
It was a nice day.

An easy layout

Here is a layout I did in the weekend. It took me under half an hour to do. I like the quick ones. I also like this hat I knitted last winter.I also have a blue hat the same.

Kaisercraft Stamps on a layout

This layout was fun to do. I haven't made many layouts recently and in the weekend I did 4. I used Bazzill Cardstock and Scenic Route double sided patterned paper(old stock). I used Kaisercraft heart stamps as the embellishments and title. Who needs words when you have a heart stamp?
This photo was taken last March 2008 at Watson Bay Sydney Harbour when Brian's mother was celebrating her 90th Birthday.

Bookmark from Wendy

Look at the lovely bookmark Wendy sent me. What a wonderful idea to make it a sturdy one to do it on picture framing card. You are never too old to learn.

Boy's 21st Card

Here is the card i made for a boy's 21st. The numbers have been made the same as the previous card with a child's toy. Nothing is sacred in craft. They have been bugged.
The card is the width of the 2 numbers by 30cm. The card has been divided into 3 and folded on the thirds lines. The 21 has been adhered with Gel Medium to the last face of the card. The with love has been bugged and adhered to the inside of the first face of the card. This part lets the face with the numbers stand upright without falling over. The with love has been inked using a Versa Color ink.
The stars are foam.

Taxes and Numbers on Kaisercraft card

Here is a girls21st Birthday card. The 2 and 1 have been bugged in reverse of each other and inked with Versa Color cubes. The card has been bugged with the same embossing folder.
The blue flowers have been punched with pink SALT flowers over the top and Kindy Glitzed.
You will never guess where the template came from to do the numbers?????Yes that's right children's toys.

Manhattan Rose and Kaisercraft

Here is a card made from the embossing folder Manhattan Rose that I borrowed from Libby in the weekend.I inked the embossed rose with pink Versa Color ink and the gems are Kaisercraft.

All other products are an unknown source.

Spellbinders and kaisercraft

Here is a card I made using the Spellbinder's embossing folder -flowers.After embossing the card I inked it with 2 different Versa Color ink pads. The ribbon is Maya Road and the flower is from SALT. The sentiment is a Kaisercraft Stamp.
If you don't want to use this shape as a card you can use it as a beanie on a scrapbooking page.
