These are my Mother's Dahlias that she gave me a long time ago. I always think of her when I see them flowering. My Mother loved flowers.

Friendship Book.

Here is a friendship book I made for one of the ladies in the swap I am in. These little booklets are so much fun to make.I am not a trained stamper and I have been enjoying using my many stamps that I have acquired over the years. I am self taught.

Libby's Circle Journal for March

I love flowers and I have always loved William Wordsworth's poem "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud." This shows how much Libby knows me. It has always been one of my favourite poems.

Cooper had his first ever birthday party with friends and family. He had a ball. We had a jumping castle and bubble maker. Melanie made the car cake and I did all the cooking. Amanda did all the decorating. Brian did all the cleaning.

You can make a card out of anything. This was made using scraps.

With Love Card

This is a quick card using the new Crafts Too embossing folders. I have inked the embossed parts and used Kaisercraft gems to add a bit of Glitz. The sentiment is a foam stamp of unknown source.

Embossed Card

Here is another card I made last Friday down at church. I love the embossing and stamping into the wet embossed surface. Kellie did a great job in showing us these cards.

Kaisercraft Card

I made this card last Friday at my Churches Craft Morning. Kellie designed it and showed us how to make it. Quite different from my style but I enjoyed making it. I will definitely be using the techniques on another card or 3.

Spiral Sizzix Texture Plates

I made this card the same way as the other 2 cards. However, I have used A Sizzix Texture Plate to do the background and I also embossed the stem.

These flowers are fun to do.

Poinsettia Sizzix and 3D Flower

The flower was made using the same technique as the previous card. The difference is I bugged the centre circle and made leaves.

The stem was drawn freehand and cut and inked. The leaves are the same heart that I stamped on green and then cut in half and glued either side of the stem.
The background of this card was made using the Sizzix texture plate, Poinsettia.

3D Flower

By now you would have guessed I love flowers. I have made this 3D flower from a heart stamp.

METHOD

1. Stamp out 9 hearts and cut them out.

2. Ink around the edges.

3. Lay 5 hearts on the base and glue them in place.(should be a poet)

4. Snip the pointed ends off the hearts

5. Squeeze to shape.

6. Glue the folded backs onto the base layer of petals.

7. Punch out a circle and glue in the centre.

With Love

Here is another card made with the new embossing folders from Crafts Too. They only have a few folders but they are so nice. I love them. I have used a martha Stewart Border Punch with the embossing folders and inked the lot with charcoal Versa Color Ink.

Friendship Book.

Here is the page I did for a Friendship Book I am doing with a group of ladies. You have to stamp something on the page and put your details on the back. I am not really a stamper-I would like to be. One day when I have more time. This book was made by Sharon and sent to Libby who then sent it to me. I love flowers so i stamped hearts and cut them out and made this flower with a stamped sentiment.

Crafts Too-Butterflies

These new embossing folders by Crafts Too go well with the Cuttlebug. Teamed with Martha Stewart Punches and bits of this and that and you have a card.

These little flowers have been made from 2 different sized circles that have been scrunched and then inked and layered. The stems and leaves are strips of black cardstock.
