VISION VALLEY
Not long now until the big camp. Cropworks has been very busy getting everything organised and ready for the weekend. We have some great stuff and I want to buy it all LOL.This will be the 5th year that we have been to this camp as a scrapper and then as a shop. Dawn and Mel and I have a great relationship and we have a good time at camp either at Vision Valley or Wiseman's Ferry which will be in September and October. For only $100 the lot wow what a bargain. So after the weekend I will have some great photos(I hope) to show off. I used to teach at these camps but now we have the shop I don't get the time to do it all. Anyway must runa nd get the car packed so i don't have to rush on friday afternoon.

I had a very busy weekend. After school on Friday Amanda and I went shopping for last minute things she would need when she goes up to Old Bar to live. Got home around 6pm and was feeling miserable with a head cold. Had an early night and woke up at 5:30am to go and get the truck to move Amanda, Craig and Cooper up the coast. Was abusy morning getting everyhting loaded into the truck and last minute cleaning, especially since Craig's dirty cousin didn't help when she moved out. I ended up cleaning the unit she was living in and left filthy. I was so disgusted-better walk the other way if I ever see her again. It took us around 2 hours to load the truck. Went to Melanie's place to get the bed and then we were off up the coast. What an experience riding in the truck with one of their dogs, Candy. She was agood dog but it was the truck that was an experience-not as comfortable as my new little Corrolla. LOL. Arrived at Old Bar around 3:30. Unloaded and that didn't take as long as Craig's grandfather was helping. Their new home is very nice and in a nice new suburb. They should be happy there.
We all went to Craig's grandfather's place for dinner and quite a few drinks. We had alovely night. Brian and I stayed there hte night and took off around 7 Sunday morning. By the time we went to Mel's to get the car and then drop off the truck and come home, it was 1:30pm. Did 4 loads of washing and went and did some grocery shopping. It is now 4:57 and I am so tired. My head cold is a little better but I feel drained. An early night tonight.

I feel happy that they have gone up there as I know it will be a better life for Amanda and her family and I know Craig's grandparents will always help them and look after them. But I feel sad and empty that they are so far away. I can't just pop in when I want to see them on the way home form school and go and have a coffee with Amanda down the street. I will miss them but I have to remember it is God's will for them to be up there and a brand new life for them is about to happen. I will miss Cooper as babies grow and change so often. I wish them all the best for their new life and their future.

Jessica just loves her little cousin Super Cooper. She likes being the big cousin.

I love this photo of Melanie and Amanda-my 2 daughters and Jessica and Cooper-my 2 grandchildren. Isn't it amazing that without me being born these 4 people would not be around. I just love my family.

I just love this photo. Amanda is now getting into scrapbooking and is loving it. This shows it all-The life of a scrapbooking mother.

Had another busy weekend. Yesterday was crop day at Pecky's. We had 10 ladies htere plus Melanie and I. Had a good day scrapping but I did more socialising than scrapping.
Today i minded Jess for a few hours then I cooked a special roast dinner and yorkshire pudding for my family. Had everybody here except Gavin a she is away for work. Took some nice photos of Cooper and Jessica. Was nice being with my family.

I like this range of Scrapbooking Australia papers. They are bright and very versatile.

And another 2.

A few more monograms I did last night at midnight or was it 1am or later.

I was playing with monograms last night. I traced the g onto chipboard and cut it out and then glued the Scrapbooking Australia Papaer over the top. Inked it and added a bottle cap and punchie. Ready to use on layout. I did several as I am going to camp in 2 weeks and a friend is doing the lesson and I told her i would do some samples for her to show.

I have been so busy with school, family and scrapbooking that i haven't been able to get onto my blog. I have heaps to put on here but not enough time at the moment.

Melanie and I took our store to Maitland on Saturday and we did a crop at the Rutherford City Bowling Club. We had a lovely day and met some lovely scrappers. I forgot to take my camera so don't have any photos.

Melanie and i are now getting ready for the big camp the first weekend in JUne at Vision Valley. This is always a wonderful weekend and we have a ball with friends and new ones.

Mother's day was lovely yesterday. When we came back from Newcastle I stayed the night at Melanie's because Brian was away and I didn't want to be alone. I went to Church with them in the morning and the servise was wonderful. We came home and Gavin cooked us a lovely bar-be-cue of garlic prawns and octopus. plus Mel made anice green salad and we had some lovely expensive French Champagne. It was the best champagne I have tasted. Mel and Jes gave me a dragonfly on a metal stick to put in my potplants. I love dragonflies. On the friday night Jessicatold me she had a dragonfly for me. LOL. Some children cannot keep secrets. However, it was still a surprise because I had no idea what it was going to be. Amanda gave me a 12x12 storage system for my cardstock. I now have to sort it out.

I came home to an empty house. brian has been away for work all week. It is so quiet around here when I am all alone. I do like my own company and need the space from time to time. I also miss Brian when he isn't here. I also enjoy not having to cook every night.

I bought myself a new car and have had it for 2 weeks now. It is a little silver Toyota Corrolla. It has power steering and airconditioning and is so lovely to drive. It handled the roads well going up to Maitland in the weekend. I will post a photo of it on here when I have one soon.

Amanda, Craig and Cooper are going up to Old Bar near Taree to live. They will be moving up there soon. Craig has already gone. I will miss them so much. I will miss seeing Cooper every week. I often call in after school to see Amanda and Cooper. I know they will be better off up there and Craig's grandfather will look after them and I will not have to worry.

This is all for now. Will get back on soon and post photos and layouts.
