Sea Princess

The Sea Princess is in Circular Quay Sydney. It is a massive ship. There were heaps of tourists in Sydney, no doubt many from the ship. Brian and I just spent  two and a half days in Sydney and had a great time.

Christmas Tree

Cooper made this tree at school. How cool is it? I might have to make one next year.

Queen Victoria Building

This tree was magnificent. All the crystals shining. The Santa cage was whimsical. I love this time of the year.

Sizzix Embossing Plate

A border punch, a flower punch, Sizzix texture plate, ink, kindy glitz, with some paper and cardstock and before you know it you have a card for a colleague who was leaving but didn't.

Martin Place

All these photos were taken in Martin Place where the giant Christmas Tree is found and the whole area is decorated with banners and stars.

Agapanthus

These are my white Agapanthus. I like these flowers, they are so hardy. Good to use to show the stamens and stigma and style.

Christmas Tree

This might be the last Christmas I have at this address. I might be in my new home next year. One never knows. Here is the tree that Cooper mainly decorated. I did the things up high and put the long beads on the tree.

Pop Up Christmas Card

This Christmas Tree has been made using the Cuttlebug and a Sizzix folder. I hand cut it out and inked it so the raised bits could be emphasised.

Rolled Christmas Card

40th Birthday

Gavin's rooster cake that Melanie made because he is into breeding chickens at the moment.
Card made with scraps and Tim Holtz Embossing plate.
The 40 I googled and printed off and traced and cut and glued onto the card. You can make any number combination in word for any occasion.

A nice free verse from the net

Santa Mugs/Tea Lights

The mug on the left I picked up last week for 50c on special. Love it. The mug on the right was given to me by my lovely Year 12 student 2010 Maxine. Note the remote which is out of reach from my grandson. It changes positions periodically so he cannot get to it.

I bought these Santa Tea Lights last week. They look great at night with the candles burning.

My wall shelf that Brian's Father made me for my 40th birthday that houses my mugs. Note the Santa Mugs on the top shelf. The middle one was given to me by Denise, my lovely Year 11 student in 2009. The one on the right was a secret Santa present from one of my crops and the one on the left I bought last year. The one on the far left was given to me by my good friend Tina. Then Maxine added another Christmas mug to my collection and it is found on the shelf under the top one on the right of the steel pot.

A close up of my Santa Mugs.

Christmas Crop

Me at our last Christmas Crop for the year. Melanie is in the background. We all bought a plate of food and had a nice Christmas dinner on the Friday night and lunch on the Saturday. We also did Secret Santa. I did a lesson on Christmas themed things made from scrapbooking products.

Year 12 Formal 2011

Cooper , my 5 year old grandson took these photos with my digital SLR camera. He is so good and has an eye for poses and the little things. I didn't ask him to take the photo of my bag but it was his idea.
