I received my 20 years of service from the Education Department last week. I feel very proud to have received this as I love my job and get so much job satisfaction from it. Knowing what I do for students means so much to me and hearing from them and knowing what they do in their lives makes it all so worth while.
However, this certificate is a little late and both the Science Department at my school and myself had a chuckle as I have been teaching for 33 years this year.I guess I will receive my 30 years when I retire or some time after.

Hi Rose-Anne, Congrats on your warad. I am glad to see the dept. is keeping up it's standards. I was checking my long service leave and imagine my surprise when I found that I only have 7 years of service registered when in fact I have been teaching for 14!
